ConsoleWorks Now Supports Security Monitoring of Network Printer; An Oft-Overlooked Security Loophole, TECSys Development's New ConsoleWorks 3.1 Now Protects Network Printer Ports.

PLANO, Texas Plano (IPA: /ˈpleɪnoʊ/) is a wealthy suburb of Dallas, Texas, located to the north, mainly within Collin County, but also extending into Denton County. According to the 2000 U.S.  -- TECSys Development Inc. (TDi) (www.tditx.com), the leader in enterprise security event information management (SEIM SEIM Secondary Electron Ion Microscope

The new upgrade, ConsoleWorks 3.1, offers a host of network security and event remediation enhancements, including remote security monitoring of the oft-overlooked regular network printer ports.

"In our testing experience, many of even the most 'secure' networks remained vulnerable to incursion in·cur·sion

"Having the ability to remotely monitor and protect across ALL entry points along a network, including printer ports, is critical if a company wishes to truly protect their cyber (1) From "cybernetics," it is a prefix attached to everyday words to add a computer, electronic or online connotation. "Having the ability to remotely watch for network breeches, across every access point, is crucial for these corporations. Combine this with the need for regulatory compliance and reporting and you have a quagmire that only our ConsoleWorks software is robust enough to handle."

Cotton goes on to illustrate the risks of an unmonitored printer port on an energy network, saying, "Without the right cyber assets in place, a knowledgeable hacker could leverage a printer port to gain control of the substation relays of our energy grid."

Multi-Connect Enhancement to ConsoleWorks 3.1

The Multi-Connect feature gives users a single point of interaction with multiple Consoles across the enterprise network. Multi-Connect enables customers to configure, connect, and communicate simultaneously with a group of Consoles from a single window, relieving them of the tiresome task of opening window after window to type the same commands over and over again to individual systems.
