The "see the bigger picture" photo competition encourages children to get back to nature, learn about the importance of biodiversity and consider their role in preserving it. By uploading pictures to www.seethebiggerpicture.org, children become part of a virtual community dedicated to preserving life on earth, and have the opportunity to win a trip to the National Geographic headquarters in Washington.
