Consider if an area should be used for blanking-in only. As for the rent, take advice from a land agent.

The inter-relationship between the landowner/agricultural tenant and the sporting tenant is crucial. The landowner should not deliberately interfere with the sporting tenant's use of the land.

Landowners are not prevented from using their land in a normal way, but a substantial interference with the ability of the sporting tenant to exercise the rights could render the landowner liable in damages to the sporting tenant.
