Consider fruit on fright night.


PARENTS are being urged to only allow healthy treats this Halloween.

Now health bosses are asking people to consider giving trick or treaters who visit their homes healthier alternatives.

The call comes as figures show Yorkshire children are getting fatter at a faster rate than other parts of the country.

Paul Johnstone, regional director for public health said: "NHS Yorkshire and the Humber Yorkshire and the Humber is one of the nine regions of England.
