(OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). :CNCEQ) announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with certain of its creditors under which those creditors will amend their votes with respect to Conseco's Second Amended Plan of Reorganization. Conseco filed an official ballot report with the bankruptcy court bankruptcy court n. the specialized Federal court in which bankruptcy matters under the Federal Bankruptcy Act are conducted. There are several bankruptcy courts in each state, and each one's territory covers several counties. that contained the voting results in connection with the Plan. The Company entered into discussions with certain creditors who voted against the Plan. As a result of the discussions, the Company intends to file an amended Plan and certain creditors are expected to amend their votes and support the Plan. Including the amended votes, the Company now believes that there will be sufficient votes for all classes to accept the Plan, other than the TOPrS, who continue to object to the Plan.
