CNC - Collaborative Networked Communication ) today announced the completion of the previously announced stock purchase program designed to encourage long-term shareholdings among its directors, executive officers and key employees. Approximately 170 Conseco directors and managers, including all nine executive officers of the company and approximately 80 managers of the company's Green Tree Financial subsidiary, participated in the program. The program was expanded from 4 million to approximately 4.5 million shares in order to accommodate the demand from participants. Stephen C. Hilbert, Conseco's chairman, president and chief executive officer, acquired 600,000 shares through the program, and bought an additional 400,000 shares in separate open market purchases.
