American hotel-chain organizer who acquired hotels in many American cities and in 1946 founded the Hilton Hotel Corporation. Foundation has appointed Edmund Edmund, 921–46, king of Wessex (939–46), half brother and successor of Athelstan. Cain formerly was director of the global development initiative at the Carter Center The Carter Center is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1982 by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.
