Conoco stated that yesterday DuPont (NYSE:DD) declared a quarterly cash dividend of 35 cents per share on each outstanding share of DuPont's common stock, also payable on September 11, 1999, to stockholders of record of DuPont common stock on August 13, 1999. DuPont currently is conducting an exchange offer under which it has offered to exchange 2.95 shares of Conoco Class B common stock for each share of DuPont common stock tendered and accepted in the exchange. The exchange offer is scheduled to expire at midnight, New York City New York City: see New York, city.
