Situated approximately 10 miles north west of Grimsby, it processes approximately 221,000 barrels of crude oil per day.  in the United Kingdom have established a new plant safety record, working more than five years and recording 10 million hours without a lost-time accident.

"It certainly makes our U.K. refining refining, any of various processes for separating impurities from crude or semifinished materials. It includes the finer processes of metallurgy, the fractional distillation of petroleum into its commercial products, and the purifying of cane, beet, and maple sugar  operation an elite organization within the international refining industry and is an excellent example of what can happen when we realize our work is never so urgent or important that we cannot take time to do it safely."
