Conning Capital Partners Invests in GlobalView Software Inc.; Latest Round to Assist in Bringing New Solution to Global Energy Industry.

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 2003

Conning Capital Partners, a private equity group, led a substantial equity investment in GlobalView Software Inc.(R), the leading provider of data management solutions for global energy markets. The Series B round of financing totaled $5,520,000. Conning Capital Partners invested $5,000,000.

Other investors in this round also includes follow-on investment from Dodi Ventures LLC, an affiliate of Dodi Management LLC, and Prosperitas Investment Partners Inc., a Private Equity Fund located in Louisville, Kentucky. George Doherty, Principal, and David W. Young, Partner, of Conning Capital Partners will join GlobalView's Board of Directors.
