What: As Cost and Revenue Assurance (CRA) programs evolve from
manual, isolated tactics to strategic, enterprise-wide
programs, the caliber of technology and service offerings
continues to rise. From in-house initiatives to complete
turnkey solutions, CRA is quickly emerging as a vital
component in how communications service providers (CSPs)
monitor and control the entire revenue lifecycle.
During this panel presentation at the TeleStrategies Fall
2004 Revenue Assurance conference, Connexn's Ritchey will
lead the discussion "Migrating Revenue Assurance from Stand
Alone to Mainstream." With CRA becoming an accepted standard
operating procedure for CSPs, mainstream B/OSS suppliers and
systems integrators are now building dedicated practices that
offer a whole new class of CRA solutions. Designed to address
the growing need for enterprise-grade CRA programs, many of
these new offerings reach beyond traditional "revenue
leakage" challenges by integrating with core telecom
operational procedures, including mediation, rating and
billing, usage detail record creation and customer
relationship management (CRM). Attendees will hear
first-hand how world-class vendors like Agilent, H-P, CSG
Systems and PeopleSoft are integrating and offering
Connexn's Certo as a means of delivering end-to-end,
enterprise CRA solutions while strengthening the value
they currently deliver to wireline, wireless or broadband
customers. In addition, Optus' Bickmore will share his
company's strategy for building an enterprise-wide CRA
program that provides end-to-end reconciliation of IP
usage detail records that verify the accuracy of all
systems in the billing stream, from network elements to
the customer bill.
