Connetics Names New Executive Vice President of Research and Product Development.

) today announced that it has named Krisztina M. Zsebo, Ph.D. as Executive Vice President of Research and Product Development. Reporting to Thomas G. Wiggans, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Zsebo will oversee the expansion of Connetics' product development activities.

Prior to joining Connetics, Dr. Krisztina Zsebo was Vice President, Biopharmaceutical and Implant R&D at ALZA Corporation where she managed the research and development activities for implant and other drug delivery technologies. From 1996 to 1998, Dr. Zsebo served as President of Biovest Consulting, where she worked with the venture community and biotechnology companies on financing opportunities and portfolio analysis. From 1984 to 1996, Dr. Zsebo held various scientific and senior product development positions at Amgen, Cell Genesys and Xenotech, and is named inventor on over a dozen patents.

Dr. Zsebo holds a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland University of Maryland can refer to:
