Connective Therapeutics Names Scott Harkonen Senior VP, Product Development and Operations.


PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 1995--Connective Therapeutics, Inc. today announced the appointment of W. Scott Harkonen, M.D., 43, as senior vice president of product development and operations, effective September 1.

Dr. Harkonen has over 12 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, and is currently vice president of medical and regulatory affairs at Univax Biologics, Inc. Prior to joining Univax in 1991, he held various product development positions at Scios Nova and Xoma Corporation. While at Univax, he was instrumental in building the clinical and regulatory function and gaining the approval of WinRho SD, Rh, (D) Immune Globulin Immune globulin
