In this role, NeSmith, previously director of technology operations, will oversee technology, product development and marketing. The promotion coincides with ConnectivHealth's recent expansion of its product and marketing teams.

Bringing together a history of experience in both the hospital and publishing industries, NeSmith will be tasked with the integration of the ConnectivHealth content management systems and developing advanced applications that will enhance ConnectivHealth's broad range of digital output for its signature products, including HealthTeacher, which provides health education resources to grades K-12 and PeerClip, an online tool that enables physicians and health care professionals to them to share and discuss health care information. Marketing and product management will be key functions in the successful implementation and awareness of new product features, including social media and video.
