Bridges Communities is the only multi-facility assisted living company in Connecticut owned and managed by Connecticut residents. Bridges' other two facilities are Bridges At The Green in Rocky Hill Rocky Hill, town (1990 pop. 16,554), Hartford co., central Conn., a suburb of Hartford, on the Connecticut River; settled c.1650, inc. 1843. Chemical coatings and synthetic textiles are made there. Rocky Hill was an important river port from 1700 to 1820. and Bridges At Lake Whitney in Hamden. The company also owns property in Manchester, a suburb of Hartford, for which it has received zoning approval for an assisted living facility. |
