Connecticut Internet Association Hosts Summer Beach Party for Hot Fairfield County "Dot Coms".

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2000

The Connecticut Internet Association is hosting a Summer Beach Party and attendees can register on-line at the CIA's website http://www.connecticutinternet.org. The event is August 10th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel, One Stamford Place in Stamford. The party will be in an outdoor, air conditioned tent. Hors d'oeuvres, pina coladas, and a cash bar will be available. Abutting the tent is a beach volleyball court, for dot com company team competition. The Beach Party is open to any dot-com, dot-bam or Internet related vendor. Admission is $15 payable at the door.

The beach party is the third event organized by the CIA, and its last event held June 13th at Norwalk Community College Norwalk Community College (also known as NCC) is a public community college in Norwalk, Connecticut. It is the second-largest of the twelve colleges in the Connecticut Community Colleges.  had over 180 people in attendance. At that event Mayor Frank Esposito gave a presentation on the rapid growth of Internet companies in Norwalk. William Schwab, President of Norwalk Community College, discussed the new Center for Information Technology being built at NCC NCC
