Any G3 Fax Machine Can Now Send and Receive E-Mail and Internet Faxes

Connect One Ltd., a developer and manufacturer of embedded Internet connectivity solutions, today announced the introduction of the Fax Messenger Internet Fax appliance.

The patented Fax Messenger installs between a phone line and any G3 fax machine, turning it into an Internet fax machine. SOHO and corporate users can send and receive E-Mail and Internet faxes as easily as standard faxes, without connecting to a PC. Versions of the remotely updateable, dial-up Fax Messenger will be available soon for corporate LANs and Fax Service Providers.

A user-friendly, menu-driven interface assists with installation and operation. After an initial entry of ISP setup parameters and up to 100 E-Mail addresses on the Fax Messenger keypad, the user enters a single-digit Internet access code and the recipient's speed-dial code on the fax machine and sends the fax. The Fax Messenger automatically downloads incoming messages from up to five E-Mailboxes.
