ConneXt Augments Senior Management Team Through Internal Promotions.

ConneXt(R), a Seattle-based software developer of billing and customer care solutions for the utility industry, announced today two recent promotions in the company's finance and human resources The fancy word for "people." Maxine Voetberg was named vice president of human resources. Voetberg joined ConneXt in August 1999 as the director of human resources, where she played an integral role in developing the company's strong, customer-focused management team. In her new senior level position, Voetberg will become more focused on the overall strategy and operations of ConneXt's human resources functions, including recruiting, compliance, and employee relations and development programs. She brings to the company over 20 years of experience in the field, previously managing the human resources organizations at Agra Earth & Environmental and D. Garvey Corporation. Voetberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management, and attained her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR SPHR Senior Professional in Human Resources

Chris Knauth joined ConneXt in 1999 as the controller, and was promoted to chief financial officer in January, 2001. As a senior level officer in the company, Knauth will take on a more strategic role in the company's financial organization, overseeing all facets of the company's accounting and budgeting operations. Knauth brings over eight years of experience in accounting and finance, and previously held positions at Ernest & Young LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol  and Intactix, a high growth software company.
