Included in the total are renewal extension periods which are at the counties' options amounting to $88 million. During 2007, the Company signed a long-term agreement potentially generating $46 million in revenue over the next eight years with the Baltimore County detention center A detention center or a detention centre is any location used for detention. Specifically, it can mean:
  • A prison
  • A structure for immigration detention
  • An internment camp or concentration camp
, representing the largest contract in Conmed's history, and two new service contracts with the county of Henrico, Virginia and the county of Jackson, Oregon, potentially generating approximately $18.8 million in total revenue over the next five years.
