Conley Canitano Changing Corporate Name, Prepares for Future Growth.

Conley Canitano & Associates, Inc., one of the Midwest's premier information technology (IT) consulting firms, today announced it will change its corporate name to CCAi Consulting, Inc.

The firm also unveiled aggressive new plans designed to take full advantage of emerging opportunities in the IT field, and announced two senior staff appointments to support the initiatives.

"We have been known as CCAi to clients and partners since our founding in 1982," said Nicholas Canitano, chairman and chief executive officer. "The initials are a shorthand for Conley Canitano & Associates, Inc. We have made the decision to formalize the abbreviation and add `consulting' to our corporate name so it now clearly communicates that we are a service organization."

The company, which specializes in enterprise solutions, is expanding beyond its "back office" technology expertise to address the broader needs of clients with new and updated applications. New areas of focus include customer-facing applications, supply chain integration and enterprise portals, with many of the technologies representing the extension of enterprise solutions.

To best serve clients and their changing needs, the company already has assembled a strong, experienced management team, including:

-- a.. Canitano, who remains Chairman and CEO.

-- b.. Timothy May, promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in
January to handle day-to-day operations, including sales and service delivery
and personnel recruitment. A seven-year CCAi veteran, May previously was Senior
Vice President for Sales and Marketing.

-- c.. Eric I. Glassman, who joined the company in 1999, serves as Vice
President of Finance, overseeing all accounting and financial functions. Two
strategic additions to senior staff

-- both in positions new to CCAi -- are expected to be instrumental in
implementing new client services going forward.

Martin P. Howley has joined CCAi as Enterprise Information Portal (EIP) practice leader and will play a key role in defining CCAi's offerings in that area. He will help to identify and hire service delivery resources, train sales and other technical pre-sales personnel and identify potential strategic partners in the enterprise portal marketplace. Most recently, Howley was a Cleveland-based business strategist with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Previously, he held technology consulting and project management positions with marchFIRST, Inc., FutureNext Consulting, Keane, Inc. and Medical Mutual of Ohio.

Vernon J. Savage has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of New Service Line Development. He will take a leadership position in moving CCAi from back-office enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations to the extensions of ERP, such as Supply Chain, CRM and Portals. Savage joins CCAi with extensive knowledge of the SAP marketplace, after serving SAP America Inc. in a variety of sales and management positions for six years. Most recently, he was a key member of Mountain View, Calif.-based Ariba, Inc.'s Ohio area sales team focused on eCommerce applications. Previously, he held solutions architecture, consulting, applications engineering and sales positions with Oracle Systems and Pioneer Standard Electronics in addition to SAP America.

"The economic slowdown of the past few years forced us, like most of our competitors, to adjust and refocus our business to protect and expand our market position," Canitano said. The company's revenues grew during the first and second quarters of 2001, compared with the second half of 2000. CCAi is poised for continued growth over the next several quarters, some of it expected to be organic, coming from a long-term, stable customer base. Other growth is anticipated to come through acquisition and the introduction of new products and services.
