Conklin paces North to win.

PREP BASKETBALL

Brian Conklin had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Vanderhoff chipped in 10 points as North Eugene improved to 7-0 for the season with a 62-36 nonleague prep boys basketball victory over host West Albany on Thursday.

Teammate Joe Kammerer also had 10 rebounds as the Highlanders held a 32-18 edge on the boards. North Eugene outscored West Albany 40-22 in the second half to break the game open.

Jake Haberly led the Bulldogs with 11 points.

Springfield 47, Ashland 46: Jay Scott made two free throws with five seconds left to give the visiting Millers the win. Jordan Haxby scored 16 points and Miles Haley added 12 to lead Springfield.

Austin Raymond had 11 points and Talon Haggard added 10 for the Grizzlies The name Grizzlies may refer to:

Century 51, Willamette 41: Charles Tapscott scored 16 points and Cameron McCaffrey added 13 to spark the host Jaguars. Century used a 14-9 fourth quarter to clinch the win.

Marshfield 61, Klamath Union 58: Brogan Oswald made four free throws in the last 20 seconds of the game to lift the host Pirates (4-2).

Oswald finished with 17 points, followed by John Parrish John Henry Parrish (born November 26, 1977 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) is a relief pitcher who currently plays for the Seattle Mariners. He was traded to the Mariners on August 9, 2007 from the Baltimore Orioles, the team that he had been with since the beginning of his career, in  with 13 and Riley Stacey with 10. Jeremy Yazzie took game scoring honors with 22 for the Pelicans.

Marist 66, Mazama 43: Gianni Carter had 21 points to lead the host Spartans. Billy Pinz added 18 points and Dustin Waldron grabbed 13 rebounds.

Triangle Lake 73, Eddyville 25: Clinton Vaughn scored 17 points and James Thiessen and Kris Smith added 15 and 10, respectively, to lead the visiting Lakers See Lake poets  (4-1, 3-1 Mountain West).

Katie Gilbert paced Klamath Union with 12 points.

Mountain West League

Eddyville 42, Triangle Lake 31: Hali Gary scored 14 points and Cortnie Jones added nine to lead the host Eagles.

Rebecca Wilkinson had a game-high 16 points to lead Triangle Lake.
