Conjugated diene rubber, process for producing and rubber composition.

U.S. patent: 7,241,842

Issued: July 10, 2007

Inventors: Nakamura. et al

Assigned: Zeon

Key statement: A conjugated conjugated
adj.
Conjugate.

estrogens, conjugated Warning - Hazardous drug!

C.E.S.
diene Dienes are hydrocarbons which contain two double bonds. Dienes are intermediate between alkenes and polyenes. Classes
Dienes can be divided into three classes:
  1. Unconjugated dienes have the double bonds separated by two or more single bonds.
rubber obtained by a process wherein active conjugated diene polymer chains, each having an active metal at a polymer chain terminal, which have been obtained by polymerizing a conjugated diene monomer monomer (mŏn`əmər): see polymer.
monomer

Molecule of any of a class of mostly organic compounds that can react with other molecules of the same or other compounds to form very large molecules (polymers).
alone, or a conjugated diene monomer and an aromatic vinyl monomer with the aid of an organic active metal in an inert solvent, are allowed to react with a specific polyorganosiloxane capable of reacting with the active metal bonded to the polymer chain terminal. The conjugated diene rubber contains at least 5% by weight of a structure comprising at least three conjugated diene polymer chains bonded through a polyorganosiloxane. The conjugated diene rubber gives, when silica is incorporated therein, a rubber composition having good processability and giving a crosslinked rubber having reduced heat build-up build·up also build-up
n.
1. The act or process of amassing or increasing: a military buildup; a buildup of tension during the strike.

2.
, good wet grip performance and good abrasion abrasion /abra·sion/ (ah-bra´zhun)
1. a rubbing or scraping off through unusual or abnormal action; see also planing.

2. a rubbed or scraped area on skin or mucous membrane.
