Congressman Rob Andrews to Address National EFTA Conference on the Future of Electronic Benefits Transfer Technology.


HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1999--

 Association announced today that U.S. Representative Robert E. Andrews (D-NJ) will address the Association's annual conference on the future of Electronic Benefits Transfer systems and technology.

The announcement was made by Association Executive Director H. Kurt Helwig. Andrews will address the conference's plenary session Plenary session is a term often used in s to define the part of the conference when all members of all parties are in attendance.

These sessions may contain a broad range of content from Keynotes to Panel Discussions and are not necessarily related to a specific style of delivery.

Andrews, first elected to Congress in 1990, represents New Jersey's first congressional district. Now in his sixth term, he is a member of the Education and Workplace Committee, and is the Democratic leader and ranking member of that committee's subcommittee on Employer-Employee Relations.
