Congratulations to.

Herschell Gordon Lewis, copywriter, consultant, and author known to many newsletter publishers, was recently inducted into the Direct Marketing Association's Hall of Fame. Among his many books is On the Art of Writing Copy, 2nd edition (AMACOM AMACOM - American Management Association Books, 2000).

Lewis began his career in the movies, directing 37 films and producing 22. He left the business in the early 1970s and became a direct mail consultant.

Perhaps more than coincidentally, the one other inductee into the DMA Hall of Fame this year is a client of Lewis's--Omaha Steaks.
