Confidence for life at Durham.

Martin George AS we begin a new academic year, we once again look back with pride and forward with confidence.

Our recently departed Upper Sixth students have achieved great things, with virtually all now holding offers from universities for this year or next.

Our new Upper Sixth achieved some of the best AS results recorded, whilst our GCSE GCSE

In sport, music, drama and across the massive range of co-curricular activities available here, successes have been coming in thick and fast - even during the summer holidays.

All this is achieved within the context of a warm, supportive and caring community, one which really is a family.

This strong sense of "belonging" is something which we believe marks us out and helps to enable all our pupils to achieve success.

We are determined to provide for all our pupils, from age three through to 18, a balanced blend of progress and tradition, of academic success and wider educational opportunities, of care and self-reliance self-re·li·ance
