Confetti rains down on bridals.

MORE than 2,000 brides-to-be and their families attended the Liverpool ECHO's Confetti show over the weekend.

The two-day event held in the ECHO's Old Hall Street foyer also attracted trade stands from more than 70 businesses.

A big hit was the twice-daily fashion show featuring models from Pulse Production demonstrating a range of bridal and groom wear.

Exhibitors, including Youngs Hire, Moss Bros, Classy Rags, Cloud 9 Bridal, Minskys and Liverpool University, offered wedding gowns, menswear, accessories, cakes, cars, venues and photographers.

There was also a stall on behalf of the ECHO's Sunrise Fund charity appeal.

Visitors were given a goody bag containing make-up and hair products and invited to sample a range of products including luxurious fruit and chocolate fountains and Lambrini sparkling wine.
