Conference to focus on employment trends: 'Changing Time, Changing Workplace' theme set for April 24-25.

The theme of the conference, which will focus on current and future employment and workforce trends, is "Changing Times, Changing Workplace."

AACE is a statewide group composed of human resources The fancy word for "people." The human resources department within an organization, years ago known as the "personnel department," manages the administrative aspects of the employees.  managers, recruiters, and college and university career services professionals.

`The mission of AACE is to provide resources for the career planning and employment of Arkansas' college educated workforce," said Allison Nicholas, the association's president, who is team leader of college recruiting for Acxiom Corp. in Conway and a 17-year member of AACE. "AACE also provides professional development opportunities and promotes high ethical standards for recruiting."

The conference is open to non-members. Any professional engaged in career services, recruitment, hiring and retention would find this conference beneficial.
