Conference puts focus on construction technology.

 Construction User Council announced that the association will host a special one day national conference.

Entitled Construction Tech 2005, the conference will examine the latest innovations in construction technology and the impact of technology on the real estate, design and construction industries. It will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at the Westin New York at Times Square, located at 270 West 43rd Street in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

The Council is joined by leading national and New York trade associations, including the Associated Owners and Developers (AOD See HD DVD. ), The American Institute of Architects The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is a professional organization for architects in the United States. Organized in 1857, the Institute conducts various activities and programs to support the profession and enhance its public image, including periodically awarding the AIA  (AIA AIA - Application Integration Architecture ), the Building Trades Employers' Association, the Real Estate Board of New York and the U.S. Green Buildings Council, in producing this valuable program for public, private and institutional real estate owners, facility managers, corporate and institutional tenants as well as construction, design, engineering, project management, legal, insurance and accounting professionals.

The program will feature six panel discussions in addition to a special technology exhibition featuring new products and technology related to building design and construction.
