API, all necessary development and manufacturing tools and customer intimate support required to build a complete Internet-enabled GSM/GPRS handset.

The hardware portion of Conexant's solution implements all digital and analog baseband processing, multiband/multi-slot power amplification, power management, battery charging and transceiver functions. The system uses an industry leading, low-power, direct-conversion architecture transceiver, which eliminates the intermediate-frequency conversion steps of earlier mobile handset solutions.

Conexant's protocol stack and MMI API have been field tested in more than 20 countries worldwide, qualified and approved by more than 50 GSM network providers across Europe and Asia.
