Condo plans for W14th building.


Cornerstone Property Group, Inc. announced the all cash sale of 245-47 West 14th Street, a few blocks from the heart of the Meatpacking meatpacking or meat-processing, wholesale business of buying and slaughtering animals and then processing and distributing their carcasses to retailers.  Edmond Levy, principal at Cornerstone Property, Millennium plans to demolish the building and replace it with a luxury mixed-use condominium development.

Preliminary plans call for 25 residential units, with retail space on the first floor. The site offers 50 feet of frontage.

Retail tenants have not yet been named, but Levy expects a groundbreaking to begin later this fall.

Levy represented both the buyer and seller.
