Florio, announced today that Stephen Stephen, 1097?–1154, king of England (1135–54). The son of Stephen, count of Blois and Chartres, and Adela, daughter of William I of England, he was brought up by his uncle, Henry I of England, who presented him with estates in England and France and Blacker has been named vice president for market research at Conde Nast. He succeeds Eckart Guthe who has resigned. Blacker comes to Conde Nast from Frankfurt Balkind where, since 1993, he was executive director publishing & promotion. Prior to that, and from 1991, he was director of custom publishing & data base marketing at Playboy Enterprises Playboy Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: PLA), also organized as New Playboy, Inc. (NYSE: PLAA), is the company founded by Hugh Hefner to manage the Playboy magazine empire. It was created in 1953 as the HMH Publishing Co., Inc. . He also enjoyed two separate stints at Time Inc., first as an advertising manager at Time and Money magazines and later as marketing director from 1983 to 1987 at People.
