Conde Nast completes lease to anchor new Times Sq. tower.


Conde Nast Publications and the Durst Organization have concluded a long-term lease under which Conde Nast will house its corporate headquarters and 14 magazines at 4 Time Square, a new office building being developed by Durst on Broadway between 42nd and 43rd Streets.

Conde Nast is the lead tenant in the 1.6 million square-foot office tower, initially occupying over 583,265 square feet, with further expansion rights. 4 Times Square will be named The Conde Nast Building.

The Conde Nast lease is believed to be the largest signed in Manhattan during 1996. The publishing company will consolidate its corporate headquarters and 14 magazines to 4 Times Square from 350 Madison Avenue Madison Avenue, celebrated street of Manhattan, borough of New York City.
