Testing Demonstrates Compatibility of Concurrent's MediaHawk(TM)

Model 2000 Video Server and TVN's Digital Content Express Service

Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:CCUR) in conjunction with TVN Entertainment Corporation, announced today that Concurrent has successfully tested and validated TVN's Digital Content Express VOD asset management and distribution system for use with Concurrent's MediaHawk Model 2000 Video Server. TVN, a leading digital content distributor, operates a platform-independent, end-to-end asset management and transport system known as Digital Content Express.

In order to integrate TVN's Digital Content Express for use with Concurrent's MediaHawk Model 2000 Video Server, the two companies collaborated on interface specifications in order to streamline and automate the secure delivery of VOD and other digital assets between content owners and distributors. Digital Content Express represents a suite of services including content acquisition, encoding, transmission and receipt, forward error-correction, and subsequent manipulation of MPEG-2 video and related metadata files for commercial VOD deployments. TVN delivered and managed assets between its Burbank Digital Broadcast facility and remotely-located Concurrent servers.
