Concurrent Technologies Corp.


Concurrent Technologies Corp., Johnstown, Pa., is being awarded a $7,344,594 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-01-C-0045) for the development, design, engineering, manufacturing and testing of the Navy's airborne mine countermeasures All methods for preventing or reducing damage or danger from mines. Also called MCM.  carriage, stream, tow, and recovery system for the MH-60S. Work will be performed in Johnstown (75 percent) and Panama City Panama City, city (1990 pop. 34,378), seat of Bay co., NW Fla., on St. Andrews Bay; inc. 1909. A Gulf Coast resort with amusement parks and excellent fishing, it is also a port of entry. The city's industries produce paper, clothing, and chemicals. , Fla. (25 percent), and is to be completed by July 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $5,336,183 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command The Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR, is the part of the United States Navy which provides materiel support for naval aircraft and airborne weapon systems, such as guided missiles. NAVAIR was established in 1966 as the successor to the Navy's Bureau of Naval Weapons (BuWeps). , Patuxent River The Patuxent River is a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay in the state of Maryland.
