Concurrent Secures Strategic Volume Purchase Agreement with NXTV, Inc. Providing Video Server Solution for Digital Broadband Delivery System.

MediaHawk(TM) to Power Interactive Hotel Entertainment Services

Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:CCUR), the leading provider of digital video solutions on demand, today announced that NXTV, Inc., has chosen its MediaHawk Video-On-Demand (VOD) Streaming Media System to provide interactive digital entertainment and Internet services. NXTV, Inc., a provider of next-generation digital broadband services to the hospitality and residential markets, has signed a strategic volume purchase agreement with Concurrent in which NXTV agrees to purchase the MediaHawk VOD Streaming Media System from Concurrent. The agreement, totaling more than $2 million, covers a period of 15 months.

Using Concurrent's MediaHawk Streaming Media System, NXTV will provide digital VOD movies with enhanced TV functionality such as pause, rewind, fast forward and introducing a bookmark feature, which allows hotel guests to stop and restart movies over a 24-hour period. The NXTV system will also enable high-speed Internet TV and laptop access, e-mail access, video and data conferencing, video games, and specialized phone services, all delivered by NXTV's Broadband Delivery System over a hybrid fiber/VDSL network. The NXTV System, supported by Concurrent's MediaHawk, is now successfully running at the award-winning Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel and is currently being installed at the Hotel Bel-Air, St Regis Monarch Beach, the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa, and the St. Regis Los Angeles properties.
