Cable-Tec Booth No. 729- Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:CCUR) announced today its plans for the upcoming Cable-Tec Expo, May 9-11, in Orlando, Fla. At the show, Concurrent will focus on the technical nature of the Expo by demonstrating its end-to-end Video-On-Demand (VOD) solution as it is being commercially deployed in markets today using Concurrent's MediaHawk(TM) Model 2000 Broadband VOD system.

The recognized leader in North American cable VOD deployments, Concurrent will showcase its MediaHawk Model 2000 and simulate the kind of VOD services currently offered to customers of AOL Time Warner Cable, Comcast Cable, and Cox Communications. These demonstrations include VOD systems running on both the Motorola DCT-2000 set-top box (STB) and the Scientific-Atlanta Explorer STB platforms. Concurrent's demonstrations will feature integration with TVGateway's interactive program guide (IPG), Liberate's interactive television (ITV) platform, and HBO's subscription video-on-demand (SVOD). The VOD solutions will demonstrate VOD content from Intertainer, HBO, and Starz-Encore.
