Concurrent Computer wins multivendor system support contracts.OCEANPORT, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 14, 1995--Concurrent Computer Corp. today announced the latest results of its initiative to provide services for customers with computer system equipment from multiple vendors. Keebler Co., headquartered in Elmhurst, Ill., and the Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory, located at the Forestall Campus of Princeton University, Princeton, N.J., both recently selected Concurrent to provide service and support in their multivendor computer system environments. Both organizations use legacy Gould/Encore Systems, but now look to the real-time, open systems technical expertise and responsiveness for which Concurrent is widely known. At Keebler Co., Concurrent is maintaining Gould/Encore systems at ten sites throughout the United States. The execution of critical applications in inventory control and payroll, as well as data transfer between Keebler plants and the corporate offices relies on these systems.
