Earlier this year, Concurrent and Comcast signed a strategic volume purchase agreement in which Comcast agreed to purchase MediaHawk Broadband VOD Systems from Concurrent for calendar years 2001 and 2002. Powered by Concurrent's MediaHawk Broadband VOD System, Video-On-Demand services will be deployed by year-end in Comcast cable systems in Albuquerque, N.M.; Lower Merion and Willow Grove, Pa.; Mobile, Ala.; and Savannah, Ga.
