MacDonald reports directly to Concord Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Fred Engel.

As Vice President of Product Management, MacDonald's primary responsibility is leading Concord's product development strategy. This cross-functional role leverages MacDonald's expertise in engineering and development and also spans marketing, sales, and technical support as well as interfacing with customers to collaborate on product direction and enhancements that clearly differentiate the eHealth Suite as a market leader in IT infrastructure management.

Prior to joining Concord, MacDonald held engineering, training and development positions at leading organizations including Data General and Megatech Corporation. As an engineer, MacDonald's responsibilities included software product development and delivery. In his training and development roles, MacDonald was responsible for assessing staff training requirements, curriculum development, and classroom instruction.
