Concord will provide the credit card authorization and settlement for Marsh's Web-based purchases, and Bindley Western, the nation's fifth largest pharmaceutical wholesaler, will provide the online store functionality, inventory and distribution.

When consumers visit the Marsh Web site and click on "Health e-Mart," they are actually entering the Bindley Western site, where they can browse the products and make a purchase. Bindley Western sends the payment transaction to Concord for authorization, and Concord settles the transaction between Marsh and Bindley Western. Bindley Western provides fulfillment from one of its 17 distribution centers nationwide.
