), the leader in Web-based network performance reporting and analysis solutions, today announced Network Health - LiveTrend, integrating live and historical reporting in one application. LiveTrend reports make it easy to check on known trouble spots throughout the day by collecting, analyzing and presenting updates on critical devices and metrics in five-minute increments. The LiveTrend reports appear as "windows" on the network operator's desktop and in response to a drilldown request for more detailed information on the performance of a particular network device.

"LiveTrend eliminates the need for two point products by allowing users to easily navigate from historical to real-time analysis, " stated Joe Askins, director of data communications data communications, application of telecommunications technology to the problem of transmitting data, especially to, from, or between computers. Its present name was adopted in 1958. . "I'm able to make well-informed business decisions using the most accurate data available."

LiveTrend broadens Network Health's mandate to provide reports for multiple levels of the IT organization. IT managers rely on the existing Network Health reports to identify dangerous trends and take action before performance and critical business operations Business operations are those activities involved in the running of a business for the purpose of producing value for the stakeholders. LiveTrend allows the analyst in the Network Operating Center (NOC) of the organization to immediately check and validate the effect of these changes. For example, the network operator can instantly determine if his recent router reconfigurations had the desired effect on the router's performance and if the network is running more smoothly as a result.

Designed specifically to meet the need for time-sensitive information now, LiveTrend runs on the desktop and automatically updates with each five-minute poll of the Network Health application. Operators can run drilldown reports on potential problem areas across the network whether it is a router, switch, server or ATM link.

"As the leading provider of network reporting and analysis solutions for both enterprise and telecommunications companies, we are continuing to broaden Network Health's capabilities to cover more of the network in more detail than any other solution," said Kevin Conklin, vice president of marketing for Concord.

Service provider customers can use LiveTrend to monitor service on a minute-by-minute basis and check if the provider is delivering the service levels for which the customer originally contracted. If service is slow for example, ISP (1) See in-system programmable.

Concord's certified devices library features more than 200 devices from the major networking vendors and is designed to support the broadest number of devices and technologies in the networking environment today.
