 Camera Corp. ("Concord") (Nasdaq:LENS) today announced the appointment of Rod H. King to the position of Vice President & Director of Sales - Americas, effective July 22, 2003.

Mr. King has more than 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience in the imaging and consumer products industries. His primary responsibilities will be to lead the company's sales efforts in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. , Canada and Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. , collectively "the Americas."

Mr. King most recently served as Senior Vice President -- Worldwide Sales & Marketing for SmartDisk Corporation, where he was responsible for the company's line of software, connectivity and media storage products. During his tenure, Mr. King built a regional consumer and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  sales distribution network in the U.S. and abroad, refreshed re·fresh

Prior to this, Mr. King held positions of increasing responsibility during a 15-year career at Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. (Fujifilm), culminating in his role as Vice President and General Manager -- Consumer Markets from 1997-2000. In this position, he was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and division financial performance for Fujifilm's $700 million U.S. consumer business. Under his leadership, Mr. King's team achieved unprecedented sales, market share and profit performance.

From 1995-1997, he served as Vice President of Sales -- Consumer Markets at Fujifilm, where he was responsible for all consumer market products including photographic film, conventional and digital cameras and scanners and one-time use cameras. Mr. King's sales and distribution allowed Fujifilm to expand its market share of color not of the white race; - commonly meaning, esp. in the United States, of negro blood, pure or mixed.

Prior to joining Fujifilm, Mr. King held positions of increasing responsibility at Polaroid Corporation, where he rose to the position of Senior Marketing Manager, Cameras. In this role, he managed all of Polaroid's consumer photographic hardware business and was responsible for product development, positioning, dealer programs, promotions and pricing.

Mr. King also served on the Board of Directors of the PhotoImaging Manufacturers & Distributors Association (PMDA PMDA Plastics Machinery Distributors' Association (United Kingdom)

PMDA Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device Agency (Japan) 
) from 1992-2000, including three consecutive terms as President.
