Concord Camera Corp. Announces New Still Digital Camera for the Nokia 9210 Communicator.

Concord Camera Corp. ("Concord") (NASDAQ: LENS) today reported the recent unveiling by Nokia Mobile Phones ("Nokia") of Concord's still digital camera which uses wireless technology to transfer images to Nokia's recently announced integrated mobile multimedia device, the Nokia 9210 Communicator. Concord's still digital camera, known as the Concord Eye-Q IR(TM), is the result of a joint development effort by Concord and Nokia, with Concord providing the engineering, design and manufacturing and Nokia contributing to the camera-communicator connectivity and user interface. The Concord Eye-Q IR(TM) will be co-branded with Nokia, and is anticipated to be bundled with the Nokia Communicator device upon its initial release to stores in the first half of 2001. The Concord Eye-Q IR(TM) will be manufactured for Nokia exclusively by Concord at Concord's ISO 9002 certified manufacturing facility located in the People's Republic of China. The still digital camera will also be marketed independently by Concord through its own retail sales and distribution business and network.

The Nokia 9210 Communicator was introduced on November 21, 2000 in conjunction with the Nokia Mobile Internet conference in Prague, Czech Republic. It is an integrated full service mobile communications terminal combining phone, fax, email, calendar, imaging, WAP and WWW.

The Concord Eye-Q IR(TM) provides the Nokia 9210 Communicator with the functionality of wireless image capture and transmission. The still digital camera features IrDA wireless image transmission, USB connectivity, image storage in internal flash memory and a removable MMC card, and advanced CMOS imaging by Agilent Technologies, Inc. via a 640 x 480 true VGA resolution sensor. This highly integrated CMOS active pixel sensor offers excellent image quality with low power consumption, low dark current, high sensitivity and anti-blooming characteristics - in other words, better pictures.
