"John Hamilton will lead Concord's worldwide sales and customer service operation and report directly to me," Blaeser explained. Other internal changes announced included the promotion of:

-Vince Fortin to VP, Engineering. Fortin joined Concord in 1995 as and was subsequently promoted to Director of Engineering, prior to this latest appointment.

-Annette Stack Rosenthal to VP, Corporate Marketing. Rosenthal joined Concord as the Director of Marketing Communications Marketing communications (or marcom) are messages and related media used to communicate with a market. Those who practice advertising, branding, direct marketing, graphic design, marketing, packaging, promotion, publicity, sponsorship, public relations, sales, sales  in January of this year, coming as part of Concord's acquisition of FirstSense.

-Tom Hopkins to VP, IT and Operations. Hopkins joined Concord in 1998 as Director of IT & Operations.

-Douglas Batt to VP and General Counsel. Batt joined Concord in July of this year as General Counsel.

In addition to announcing internal promotions, Blaeser also announced the immediate and worldwide search for an Executive Vice President of Marketing. "Concord's marketing has been terrific so far.
