Steria Signs Concord Partner Agreement to Resell the eHealth(R)

Suite Throughout Europe

Concord Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRD), an industry leader in optimizing application performance and availability across networks and systems, today announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Steria, one of Europe's top end-to-end IT services groups. Steria, who has become a Concord Authorized Reseller (CCRD-CAR), is gearing up to sell its new Business Service Management (BSM) offering to C-level executives in pan-European telecommunications operators and to key-account customers in other industries.

Faced with an increasing demand from its large customers to leverage maximum value out of their existing IT environments, Steria's Operations Support Systems (OSS) team became increasingly convinced that a Service Level Management (SLM) offering was no longer enough. The SLM approach includes tools for network and systems performance management to optimize quality of service, but does not include the optimization of applications in support of business functions. Steria recognized that its customers had a growing need for a management-level overview of their networks, systems, and applications, and all of the business processes flowing between them, displayed on a single screen. When evaluating products, Steria identified Concord's eHealth Suite as the only integrated solution that visualizes and manages the intersection between business functions, end-users, and the underlying application, system and network infrastructure, providing a both a business and technical view of the IT infrastructure.

Steria and Concord are already experienced at working together for a joint customer, Cegetel, a major French telecom operator. Since signing Concord's reseller agreement, selected sales and technical staff from Steria have been undergoing product training.
