The Personal Communications Attendant (PCA) is a software product which resides on the user's own Personal Computer. PCA provides the capability for the user to connect to his or her own PC and to listen to e-mail messages over any touch-tone phone. PCA supports both voice and keypad commands. E-mail is secured by both the user's own voice password and/or a PIN number. The PCA can read or bypass individual e-mail messages as instructed by voice commands. The product will also call the user when important e-mail is received. The unique AutoPage feature includes a user-specified "VIP list" and can be set to notify the user at any telephone number when e-mail from addresses entered on the VIP list is received.
