Concierge Inc. Announces Shipment of Its Personal Communications Attendant Internet E-mail Product.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 20, 2000

Concierge Inc. announced today that it has begun shipment of the company's Personal Communications Attendant (PCA) Internet e-mail product.

Commencement of shipments occurred later than projected due to unexpected delays in the delivery of printed materials and other key product components. The PCA is software that automatically retrieves a user's e-mail on an unattended basis and reads it to him/her over any telephone connection.

Initial shipments of the finished product will be made first to customers who pre-ordered the PCA and have been backlogged, but new orders may be placed on the company's Web site at www.pcahome.com. The PCA operates under Windows 95/98 and requires a voice-quality modem and Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. Since AOL supports neither of these e-mail clients, the initial release of the PCA is not recommended for use on AOL, although future versions may incorporate AOL compatibility.

In addition to commencing end-user shipments, Concierge has forwarded evaluation copies of the PCA to organizations involved in both vertical marketing and mass merchandising. Discussions with these organizations are underway to explore the possibility of reseller and/or licensee agreements.

Concierge has previously announced plans to merge with Starfest Inc. (OTC BB:SFST) and is awaiting SEC response to an amended S-4 merger document recently filed by Starfest. Although Concierge has no means of predicting the date of any response from the SEC, a company spokesman said that action on the part of the commission is expected in the reasonably near future.

Concierge was founded by Allen E. Kahn to design, market and support a new class of unified messaging products. These products integrate voice technology and pioneering software as a solution to the remote access needs of Internet e-mail, fax and voice mail users.

The company is preparing to introduce a software package (the Personal Communications Attendant, or PCA) that will enable Internet e-mail users to have e-mail, received on their personal computers, read to them over any telephone as instructed by the user's voice commands.
