Concert a thank-you to hospice; SUTTON COLDFIELD/ ERDINGTON.


AN ALL-star cast of concert singers will be taking to the stage at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall Sutton Coldfield Town Hall is a former hotel and council building in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England.

The town hall's position on the edge of a steep slope means that it has views over large amounts of south Sutton Coldfield whilst the northern area remains at the
 in March to raise money for an Erdington hospice.

 Hospice, will be hosted by Radio WM's Les Ross Les Ross (born 7 February, 1949 in Birmingham) is a British disc jockey and long established personality in the West Midlands.

Ross always wanted to become a DJ so at the age of 11, he wrote to the general manager of Radio Luxembourg.
 and headlined by soprano Sarah Cotterill.

It was the singer's idea to hold the concert as a way of thanking the hospice for taking care of her grandfather Anthony Shaw during the last weeks of his life in September last year.

The staff at the hospice also supported her grandmother Joy Shaw, who died in December 2007.

Also appearing will be soloists, Byron Jackson, Christine Cairns, Jacqueline White and Laura Woods, together with pianist John French.

Tickets for the Friday, March 14 are pounds 10 each (pounds 7.50 concessions) and the concert starts at 7.30pm.
