NORWELL, Mass. -- Concert Medical has announced the launch of BSmart(TM), the first objective nerve block injection pressure monitor for use in regional anesthesia. Clinicians can now objectively monitor and document injection pressures during administration of peripheral nerve blocks, avoiding injection into poorly compliant tissues. Objective pressure monitoring helps standardize nerve block injection procedures regardless of who performs the actual injection.
