Integration with Google Maps[TM] Improves Situational Awareness and Decision Making

CommandAware is now integrated with Google Maps[TM] web mapping service to provide hospital command center staff with the ability to view real-time intelligence from other hospitals in their region using CommandAware's dashboard. The mapping feature allows incident managers to visualize surrounding hospitals on a map and drill down for additional information such as hospital demographics, whether an incident has been activated, the status of the emergency department and decontamination capacity.

The interface allows incident commanders to communicate geographically regarding the entire region's response capabilities and resources, facilitating better awareness and decision making for effective incident and disaster response.
